THRIVE2023 is St. Tammany Corporation’s five-year economic development strategic plan that will serve as the road map for the future of economic development in St. Tammany Parish. In February 2019, THRIVE2023 was formally adopted by our Board of Commissioners and implementation of the strategic priorities identified in the plan began.

Since July 2018, St. Tammany Corporation has helped to directly facilitate multiple major expansions of existing businesses, representing over $48M in capital investment and the creation approximately 374 new jobs.
In 2020, St. Tammany Corporation launched a comprehensive business outreach and technical assistance program, Advance St. Tammany, produced a suite of research publications under the banner The AnalyST, created StTammanyStats.com a digital data platform, established a graduate fellowship for land and site development, and facilitated the St. Tammany Economic Recovery and Resiliency Advisory Council, the task force established to create a comprehensive reopening plan for St. Tammany’s economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In October 2020, St. Tammany Corporation was honored by the International Economic Development Council with the following awards for Economic Excellence (Population 200,000 – 500,000):
Gold: Advance St. Tammany — Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Initiatives.
Gold: StTammanySafe.com — Special Purpose Website.
Silver: COVID-19 Response and Recovery Campaign – Innovation in Economic Development Week.
In December 2020, St. Tammany Corporation and the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University formalized a coordinated effort to expand access to services and resources to the business community in St. Tammany through an innovative agreement that provides enhanced technical assistance and increased collaborative efforts to best support businesses in St. Tammany Parish.
